Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 27, 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to everyone who uses pouracrossamerica.com, buys a membership, purchases wine or attends a Pour Across America event. Pour Across America is a Houston, Texas wine club ("we," "us," "our"). By using our website, joining a membership or buying a ticket, you agree to these terms.

2. You must be 21 or older

You must be at least 21 years old to join a membership, buy wine, or attend a tasting where wine is served. We check valid government-issued photo ID at events and at every wine pickup or delivery. We may refuse service, entry or wine to anyone who cannot show valid ID, appears intoxicated, or is buying wine for someone under 21.

3. Memberships

We offer three memberships:

  • Tasting Membership: quarterly tasting events for the member and one guest. No wine to take home.

  • Wine Club Membership: quarterly tasting events for the member and one guest, plus 3 curated wines each quarter.

  • Explorer Membership: everything in the Wine Club, plus additional perks described on our website.

Membership benefits are personal to the member. The guest must also be 21 or older. We may update membership benefits from time to time and will tell members in advance of any material change.

4. Billing and the 12-month minimum commitment

Memberships are billed quarterly, every 3 months, to the payment method you provide at sign-up, plus applicable Texas sales tax. Your membership continues each quarter until you cancel as described below.

Every membership has a 12-month minimum commitment, which means four quarterly payments. By joining, you agree to pay for the full first 12 months.

If a payment fails, we will contact you. We may pause benefits, including wine and event access, until the balance is paid.

5. Cancellation

During the first 12 months: you may ask to end your membership early, but the remaining payments for the 12-month commitment stay due. In exceptional circumstances, we may agree to release a member early at our sole discretion. Any such exception is decided case by case and does not change these terms for other members.

After the first 12 months: you may cancel at any time by emailing host@pouracrossamerica.com at least 60 days before your next quarterly billing date. We purchase each quarter's wines in advance, so a quarter that has already been purchased for you cannot be cancelled or refunded. Cancellation requests received less than 60 days before a billing date take effect after that quarter.

We may end a membership for non-payment, for breaking these terms, or for behavior at events that is unsafe or disrespectful to others.

6. Wine pickup and delivery

Members receive their quarterly wines in person at that quarter's member tasting event.

If you cannot attend, we will contact you to arrange a personal delivery within the Houston area. Because wine is an alcoholic beverage, it must be handed to an adult 21 or older who shows valid photo ID and signs for it. We cannot leave wine at the door, with a neighbor, or with anyone under 21.

If we cannot reach you or complete a delivery after reasonable attempts within 80 days of the tasting event, we will hold your wines for pickup by arrangement. Wines that remain unclaimed after a further 80 days may be released without refund.

Wine delivery is currently available only in the Houston area.

7. Compliance with alcohol laws

Pour Across America holds a Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) Wine Only Package Store permit. All wine sales, tastings and deliveries are carried out in accordance with Texas law and TABC rules. We do not ship wine outside the Houston area. You agree not to resell any wine purchased from us. Please drink responsibly and never drink and drive.

8. Damaged or faulty wine

We inspect every bottle before handing it over. Please check your wines when you receive them: by accepting them, you confirm they arrived undamaged.

If you believe a bottle is faulty (for example, cork taint), contact us within 7 days of receiving it and before drinking more than a small amount. Please keep the bottle with at least three-quarters of the wine and the cork so we can assess it. We determine whether a wine is faulty at our reasonable discretion. Personal taste, vintage variation, natural sediment, or a wine that differs from what you expected are not faults.

If we confirm a fault, we will replace the bottle with the same wine or, if it is no longer available, a wine of similar value of our choice. Faulty wine is replaced, not refunded. Bottles damaged or stored improperly after handover are not eligible.

9. Event tickets

Non-member tickets are sold through our ticketing partner and include applicable taxes and fees.

  • Refunds: tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event. Within 7 days of the event, tickets are non-refundable.

  • Transfers: you may transfer your ticket to a friend who is 21 or older by emailing us their name at least 1 day before the event.

  • Members: members attend free with one guest using their member code. Free member tickets are personal to the member and cannot be resold.

  • Changes: If we must cancel an event, we will offer a full refund or a ticket to a future event. If we change the venue or time, we will let you know as early as possible.

We may refuse entry or ask anyone to leave who appears intoxicated, cannot show valid ID, or behaves in a way that is unsafe or disrespectful to others, without refund.

Photos and video: we take photos and videos at our events. By attending, you agree that images in which you appear may be used by Pour Across America on our website, social media, newsletter, and other promotional materials, without payment. If you prefer not to appear, please tell us at check-in or email host@pouracrossamerica.com before the event, and we will do our best to leave you out and to remove any published image of you on request.

10. Store purchases

Wine and gifts purchased through our online store are for pickup or delivery in the Houston area and follow the same age, ID and fault rules as membership wines. Because wine cannot be resold once it leaves our care, store purchases are final except for faulty wine as described in section 8.

11. Prices and availability

Wines are produced in small batches and availability is limited. We may substitute a wine of similar style and value if a selected wine becomes unavailable. We may change prices for future quarters with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes never apply to a quarter you have already paid for.

12. Website content

The text, photos, logos and stories on our website belong to Pour Across America or are used with permission. Please do not copy or reuse them without our written consent.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a membership, ticket, or purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that membership quarter, ticket, or purchase. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under Texas law.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify members by email at least 30 days before they take effect. The latest version is always on this page.
