Meet Your Curator

Pour Across America is curated by Diana Khandilyan, a geophysicist with more than 27 years of experience reading the earth across continents. She holds WSET Level 3 and CMS Level 1, and never stops learning.

Geology shapes how she tastes: rocks, climate and landscape first, then the glass. She visits every winery and tastes every wine herself before it reaches your table.

  • Pour Across America is a Houston wine club that explores a different American wine state each quarter. Through member tastings and curated wine deliveries, we share each state’s story: its wineries, soil, climate and the people behind the labels. It’s curated by founder Diana Khandilyan, a geophysicist and WSET Level 3 wine professional.

  • We offer three memberships, all billed quarterly with a 12-month minimum commitment. Tasting ($65) includes quarterly tastings for you and a guest. Wine Club ($150) adds 3 curated small-batch wines to take home each quarter. Explorer ($225) adds direct access to Diana, priority event invitations and wine trip perks. Past regions include New York, Arizona, Pennsylvania and Colorado.

  • We source small-batch wines from independent producers across the country, but memberships, wine deliveries and tastings are currently available in the Houston area only.

  • It depends on whether you're already a member:

    • Members use the Member RSVP link

    • Non-members use the Non-member RSVP link, which leads to ticket purchase (currently priced per ticket), or they may subscribe to a membership and then RSVP as a member.

  • Every wine is personally selected by founder Diana Khandilyan.

    Each quarter, she travels to the featured state, visits the wineries and tastes every wine herself at the source.

    For the Ohio edition, she explored 11 Grand River Valley wineries to choose just five.

    Her background as a geophysicist shapes how she looks at wine: she starts with the land, the soils, climate and landscape that shape each vineyard, then tastes how they show up in the glass.

    She looks for wines that are high in quality and true to their place, made by small producers with a story worth sharing.

    She favors sustainable farming, minimal intervention and minimal chemicals: honest wines with soul, not mass-market labels.

    The result is a selection you won’t find on store shelves, with the story of every bottle shared at our Houston tastings.
